Jerry M. Johnson PTJerry M. Johnson PT

Jerry is a Spokane native and graduate of Gonzaga Prep. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Jerry has worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center and served as consultant at numerous local nursing facilities. He was Director of Physical Therapy at St. Lukes Hospital and helped establish it's Multi-disciplinarily Rehab Unit. In 1984 he co-founded Four Seasons Physical Therapy with John McKinnon and Susan Taylor and continues as it's administrative services director.

Jerry has extensive experience and continuing education in neurological and orthopedic conditions. Topics include advanced manual therapy for the spine and extremeties, myofascial release, medical exercise therapy and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Professional activities include membership in the Amercian Physical Therapy Association, Physical Therapy Association of Washington, as well as State and National Private Practice Special interest groups, and he is currently active in the Private Practice Special Interest Group and the Washington Physical Therapy Political Action Committee.

Strong family values are a priority shared with his wife Cindy, a Registered Nurse, and grown children Jodi and Jason, as well as three grandchildren. Outdoor activities, water and snow sports are favorite past times. Jerry comes off as a nice guy, but if you don't do your exercises or Dis his Ford pick-up, you'll see his dark side.

John L McKinnonJohn L McKinnon PT OCS

John is a 1980 graduate of Stanford University with a MA in Physical Therapy. He practiced at St. Lukes Hospital in Spokane until 1984 when he opened Four Seasons with his partners, Jerry Johnson and Susan Taylor.

As clinical director, John oversees provision of care as well as the student education program. He has taken extensive continuing education courses with an emphasis on lower extremity and foot biomechanics. He has lectured at EWU Physical Therapy program and became a Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2006.

John served on the board of directors of Northwest Rehab Alliance, a two-state physical therapy network, for six years, three as president. He is also active in the Physical Therapy of Washington Association Private Practice Group.

John and Maureen Rager-McKinnon, a pediatric physical therapist, have two sons, Jack and Dan, and are active in various Spokane community events. John also serves as the clinic clown or the clinic grouch, depending on the day and who you talk to.

SUSAN M. TAYLORSusan M. Taylor PT

Susan received her BS degree and certificate in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 1977. She worked at Long Beach Memorial Hospital specializing in Rehab and the Spine Pain Program. After relocating to Spokane in 1979, she met future partners Jerry and John at St. Lukes Hospital.

Susan's incredible assessment skills have developed from experience in rehab, physical capacities evaluations, skilled nursing facility consulting and extensive orthopedic treatment. She has developed programs in women's health and has been a consultant for Sit and Be Fit exercise program for twenty years. She has also served on the MS Society Board and assisted with local sports teams. She is a member of the APTA, PTWA and the Women Health Section of the APTA.

Susan and husband Val, president of Inland Medical and Rehab, have three grown children, Courtney, Jordan, and Melissa and keep very busy on the slopes in the winter and on the river in the summer. She stays very active and believes exercise should be a part of everyones life. Since her children are grown, she has taken to mothering all of her co-workers.

Jodi KatzJodi Katz PTA

Jodi has been with Four Seasons Physical Therapy since 1998 both as an aide and as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from SFCC's Physical Therapist Assistant program in June 2000.

Her primary focus has been outpatient orthopedics with specific interest in women's health issues, having had extensive continuing education in these areas. She is active with the SFCC PTA program as a clinical instructor, guest speaker and special committees member, and is a an APTA and PTWA member.

Jodi and husband Jason keep busy raising two beautiful daughters, Jamie and Jenna, and are active at the lake in the summer and playing in the snow in the winter. Jodi is the clinics "rubber band man" as she knows where everything is and how to do all jobs. Most questions in the clinic are answered "go ask Jodi".

Kathy Walser - Office Manager

Kathy was born and raised in Spokane and graduated with a BS in Physical Education/Exercise Science from EWU. Her background and interests led her in a round about way to the Four Seasons Physical Therapy team in 1991 as a physical therapy aide. She has since grown into the position of office manager. She coordinates office finances, payroll, and scheduling at the front desk.

Kathy and her husband Roger have one grown son, Shea and two young children, Josie and Clay. Coaching their children's soccer and basketball teams during the school year allow Kathy and Roger to continue to pursue their love of athletics. The family also enjoys biking, water skiing and camping in our beautiful northwest summers. Due to Kathy and Roger's competitiveness they are required to play one handed at the annual clinic volleyball game.
